Starting It Over I’m starting it over, Starting it over again. I’ll jump off the wire and take up my paper and pen. Now if you could just remind me How I used to turn your head, Was that something I imagined, Was it anything I said? I’ll try to be honest, It may not be pretty or fair. I’ll come down in silence and leave what I can in the air. Now if I could just remember What it was that I had planned, Maybe take me through your changes, Could you lead me by the hand? And you could teach me all the life you have. I’m starting it over, Looking for ways I can mend. I’ll break it in pieces Then tape it together again. If we both are in the line up At the bottom of the hill, When the starting gun is fired Will you leave me standing still? And you could teach me all the life you have. The life you have. And you could teach me all, and that’s too bad. Yeah that’s too bad. When you want just help yourself I’m here for you to pick apart. And I lay myself out here so you can get a running start. And you could teach me all the life you have. The life you have. And you could teach me all, and that’s too bad. Yeah that’s too bad. And you could teach me all the life you have. The life you have. And you could teach me all, and that’s too bad. I’m starting it over Starting it over again

With Whatever Comes to Hand I can see that you’re fading, I don’t know if you can tell. Little by little there’s less of you. Should I be concerned? Show me how to stop the pain, With whatever comes to hand. I can feel that you’re leaving. Say it’s only in my head. I’m not the person I used to be. Is it just that we are both trying to be free? In whatever time we have, With whatever comes to hand. Oh you want to play the one who’s being brave, And I can’t recognise myself behind these shades. But today I feel like we could work it out With whatever comes to hand. Little by little I’m losing you. Should I stick around? Tell me how to feel again. In whatever time we have and with whatever comes to hand.
I never fell before but now I’m crashing hard. It’s time, we head out the door where winter keeps us safe behind our tried and tested cheap disguises. I can tell that you’re waiting. I don’t know what’s coming next. Is it alright if I comfort you? Should I be alarmed? Is there nothing I can say? In whatever time we have, With whatever comes to hand.
