Omaha 05:08
Omaha I heard them say that Omaha will burn When the standard bearer falls, And the skaters by the statues Turn their backs against the wall. I heard them say Los Angeles will burn When the beaches turn to fire, And the sea life lie across the sand Emotional and tired. Omaha, Omaha. If I could save you then I would save you. Omaha, Omaha I’ll always feel the shame But the world remains the same. I heard them say when New York City burns They’ll come crawling from the water, From the libraries and museums For a front seat at the slaughter. Omaha, Omaha. If I could save you then I would save you. Omaha, Omaha I’ll always feel the shame But the world remains the same. They’ll be standing in a row, there won’t be any smiles, Remembering the price they paid; The life blood that they left behind, The blind and twisted love they gave. Omaha, Omaha. If I could save you then I would save you. Omaha, Omaha I’ll always feel the shame But the world remains the same. Omaha, Omaha. If I could save you then I would save you. Omaha, Omaha I’ll always feel the shame But the world remains the same.

Disco Drug Store I could wait around forever ‘cause that’s what I do best. I’ll waste the best years of my life and put it to the test. And now that I am getting older it’s becoming hard to tell What it is that I do badly, what it is that I do well. I’ll drive down to the Disco Drug Store And take my place in line. I’ll met you down by the Disco Drug Store To pass away the time. There was a time I could remember how it felt to just be true, Before I got so jaded, before I got so blue. But now I get so angry, it’s like it isn’t me. Don’t know how I can get it back the way it used to be. I’ll drive down to the Disco Drug Store And take my place in line. I’ll met you down by the Disco Drug Store To pass away the time. And you are what I need now, To keep me from myself. I’ll drive down to the Disco Drug Store And take my place in line. I’ll met you down by the Disco Drug Store To pass away the time. I’ll drive down to the Disco Drug Store And take my place in line. I’ll met you down by the Disco Drug Store To pass away the time. I’ll drive down to the Disco Drug Store And take my place in line. I’ll met you down by the Disco Drug Store To pass away the time. And you are what I need now, To keep me from myself.

The Closest 04:43
The Closest It’s not the way I cut my hair It’s not the way I stand askew It’s not the place I went to school It’s not the lack of a tattoo. It’s not the smoke that’s in my eyes It’s not the standing in this hall It’s not the bottle in my hand I’m just a stranger after all. And I’d better go now before someone finds me out, Before someone turns me in. I’d better run now, before I stop this spin. Tonight might be the closest that I get. Watching someone else, trying to forget That this isn’t me. It’s not who I truly am. Does anyone else give a damn? It’s in the way I drink my tea It’s in the beating of my heart It’s in the crowding of the room It’s at the finish and the start. It’s in the way I speak my name It’s in the stutter and the smile It’s in the aching in my back I’m just a stranger all the while. And I think I’d better go now before I come unstuck, Before I fall apart. Said I think I’d better run now, But that would be too smart. And this could be the closest that I get. Watching someone else, trying not to sweat That this isn’t me. It’s not who I truly am. Does anyone give a damn? Just when I start to recognise myself I hear the old me talking. The same old words fall out my mouth, The floor gives way where I’m walking. And tonight might be the closest that I get. Watching someone else, trying to forget That this isn’t me. And this might be the closest that I get Watching someone else, trying not to sweat That this isn’t me. It’s not who I truly am. Does anyone give a damn?

Love & Blackmail I’ll sell you my story, you give back what’s mine, All is fair in love and blackmail, show me where to sign. Traitors can be trusted, saints don’t tow the line, Liars always tell the truth every other time. Doesn’t matter what I tell you, you won’t change your mind. Kill this love destroy it now but don’t leave this love behind. Old scores should be settled, never unresolved. Scars will heal and bruises fade, so I have been told. Doesn’t matter what I tell you, you won’t change your mind. Kill this love destroy it now but don’t leave this love behind.

High Flyer 04:25
High Flyer Built a shrine to what had passed, Lit the fire every night. Can’t control the things I hide, Blew the cover deep and wide. I could not help myself. Took a photo of your eyes To keep beside me all the time. Saw the light within you fade, Watched you fall into the line. Could not help but cry. Still you remain the reason and the rhyme. And the headlights catch you falling from the wire. And the ten years flashing by just take me higher. What a shame to see that you’ve become a high flyer. Read you all around the world, I took it that you never failed. Sometimes pictures come to me When I’m checking through the mail Of things that cannot be. Things will never be the same Since you had to go and change. When did you become so small? How do you ignore the pain Of what you’ll never be? Your shallow heart keeps beating after me. And the headlights catch you falling from the wire. And the ten years flashing by just take me higher. What a shame to see that you’ve become a high flyer. You’re high flying, Took a shine and spun it over, Turned it backwards. I’m here thinking leave it be now. You’re high flying, You’re high flying, You’re high flying, You’re high flying now. And the headlights catch you falling from the wire. And the ten years flashing by just take me higher. And you have to know the truth to be a liar. What a shame to see that you’ve become a high flyer. You’re high flying. Flying high. Won’t you fly with me tonight?

Stigmata 04:44
Stigmata There’s a burning in my hands, Takes me to the highest place. And the redness comes and goes But I don’t forget his grace. And I speak out when I can, I’m a vessel filled with love. I can tolerate your jibes Because my strength comes from above. You can take me anyway you want me. I’ll be yours of life. Because I’m bleeding for you now, Talking out my problems, laying my heart open to you. Bleeding for you now, Selling you my secrets, running down the gap between us. But don’t assume that you know me at all. There’s a devil in my head, Tries to tempt me all he can. But my faith is resolute, I’m not like any other man. And I preach the whole day long, Telling tales of sorry woe. See I prostitute myself, Dealing pleasure blow by blow. You can take this any way you want it. This is yours for life. And I’m bleeding for you now, Talking out my problems, laying my heart open to you. Bleeding for you now, Selling you my secrets, running down the gap between us. But don’t presume that you know me at all. You can use me any way you want to. I am yours for life. And I’m bleeding for you now, Talking out my problems, laying my heart open to you. Bleeding for you now, Selling you my secrets, running down the gap between us. But don’t presume that you know me at all. Bleeding for you now. Bleeding for you now. Just don’t presume that you know me at all. You don’t know me at all. You don’t know me at all.

Skylight 04:38
Skylight Through the woods I crawl again, Waiting for my one true friend To take me out, and take me away from here. I can see it’s been a long long night, And it seems there has been quite a fight, But nothing matters now that you are here. So take me in your arms and I am home. Hold me to your heart when we’re alone. You are my skylight and through you the world is beautiful. You are my saviour in the dark. You are the skylight to the part of me that’s beautiful. And I’m waiting for our time. Waiting, for our time is yet to come. The broken hearted close on in, They’ve been spat out and suckered in, But you and I can turn the tide around. We stand together side by side, The broken bottles flying by And never flinch when they crash into the ground. So take me in your arms and I am safe. Hold me to your heart when you’re alone. You are my skylight and through you the world is beautiful. You are my saviour in the dark. You are the skylight to the part of me that’s beautiful. And I’m waiting for our time. Waiting, for our time is yet to come. Through the woods I crawl again, Waiting for my one true friend To take me out, and take me away from here. And though the city crawls at night, You can make the dark seem light. You can make the heat rise up and lift me higher. You are my skylight and through you the world is beautiful. You are my saviour in the dark. You are the skylight to the part of me that’s beautiful. And I’m waiting for our time. Waiting, for our time is yet to come.

Constellation I see it all so clearly now. If you join the dots you’ll make a sacred cow. And give it all over to a higher power, But don’t trust the stars. You see I heard all you got to say. And kept an eye out for my special day. But you got me all wrong in every way, So don’t trust the stars. People lie, planets too, Just like you my friend. Secrets run and hide from view, Just like you in the end. You see I know more about you than I should. And I’d give it all back if I only could. ‘Cause you can know too much for your own good. So don’t trust the stars. Did you believe all the things he said? Could he look right inside your head? And do the words still work if they don’t get read? Don’t trust the stars. People lie, planets too, Just like you my friend. Secrets run and hide from view, They’re just like you in the end. People lie, planets too, Just like you my friend. Secrets run and hide from view, They’re just like you in the end. You hear what you want to hear, I hear muffled shouts and screams. You trust your daily dose of fear I put more faith in my dreams. People lie, planets too, Just like you my friend. Secrets run and hide from view, They’re just like you in the end. People lie, planets too, Just like you, just like you. Secrets run and hide from view, They’re just like you my friend.

Being Alone 03:29
Being Alone Well I’m done with trying to call you And I’m tired from talking this way. If I seem cold and ungrateful I’m sorry, but I just can’t play your games today. Well I’ve tried to change for the better, Now I’m done pretending to care. And if I seem rude and defensive I’m sorry, but there’s too much broken to repair. I know you’re sat there listening To this disembodied voice, Feeling hurt and angry But you leave me no real other choice. Well I can’t lie any longer And I just despise all your friends. When you said you’d love me forever I knew this day would come when it would end. And I know we had some good times, But they very soon will fade. If you’ll just pick up the phone now Maybe I’ll be able to explain. Well I’m bad at making excuses And I can’t bear long goodbyes. But if you want you can call me tomorrow Or wipe this message off to sever all ties. I know you’re sat there listening In the darkness by the phone. You’ll be better off without me. You’re better off being alone.

Sleepwalking 03:49
Sleepwalking Blue on white, words are falling. Feeling fine and the message is clear. 9.15 - fingers freezing. Stomach cramps and the end of a year. Wait to crawl to a daydream, Take a grave and a nightmare seed. Doing well now - thanks for asking. Looking grey, still feeling green. And the pressure’s on me now. And it’s all getting too loud. Watching these five people sleep ‘cause I can’t sleep myself. Dreaming only second hand is better for my health, So I’m sleepwalking now. Search for friends in isolation. Fingers numb from clutching my pen. Hazy light, through the curtain, Writing letters that I’ll never send. Got a caffeine overdrive, Working 3am ’til 5. Watching these five strangers sleep ‘cause I can’t sleep myself. Dreaming only second hand is better for my health, And so I’m sleepwalking now. Take a trip to the ceiling, makes a change from feeling low. 10.15 - trouble breathing. Fingers crossed, if I take it slow. And the lines are blurring now. And the end has come somehow. Watching these five people sleep ‘cause I can’t sleep myself. Dreaming only second hand is better for my health Watching these five sleep ‘cause I can’t sleep myself. Dreaming only second hand is better for my health And so I’m sleepwalking now.

Strange Affair I’ve lit the candles, the dinner’s prepared. I’m dining alone, so why am I scared? Who will take the blame for this strange affair? I’ve spoken to her, I know her name. And once a week I play this silly game. But who will show the way in this strange affair? It’s such a long time that I’ve been alone. It’s half a lifetime since Jeanie left home. So I’ll snuff out the candles, turn on the light. Clear the room for another long night. But who would want to share in this strange affair?

Into Blue 05:54
Into Blue Blame yourself, there’s no-one else. Make a choice, see it through. Lose control, sell your soul. Buy into something new. When you can’t look down And you can’t see straight, When you don’t hear me, I don’t hear you anyway. Walk away every day. Put aside what you knew. Separate all the hate. Tear your heart into two. When you can’t look down And you can’t see straight, When you don’t hear me, I don’t hear you anyway. Draw a line through your time, Take a jump into blue. As you fall, try to stall. Live a lie, never true. When you can’t look down And you can’t see straight, When you don’t hear me, I don’t hear you. And you can’t look down. And you can’t see straight. When you don’t hear me, well I don’t hear you anyway.

Monogram #1 02:14
Monogram #1 Take your words from my mouth I don’t need them anymore. This is all I have left is anyone keeping score? Take me for who I am, no need to blush. Show me a better man who’s not in a rush. Take your hands from my throat I don’t like it anymore. It only serves to confuse and my nerves are raw. Send me your message now, ready or not. Treat me just anyhow, it’s all I’ve got. Take that look from your eyes, I can’t take it anymore.

Amaretto Rise Take the long road home, keep walking away from me. Just listen to yourself begging on your knee, That’s not the way to be. I tell you this aint right, it shouldn’t be this way. You’re bleeding from your mouth, and got nothing to say. And I’ve got no will to play. I washed away the coffee stains, I lost my heart in the penny arcade and you know… There’s a red star shining in a dark grey sky, Shining in my sleepy eyes, Watching amaretto rise. You’re talking in your sleep and keeping me awake. this time is not my own, nor is it yours to take. Try giving me a break. I should lay down into the earth with me. I’m dragging you around, when will you let me be, and tell me what you see. I hung around the bowling lanes, and lost my job at the penny arcade but you know… There’s a red star shining in a dark grey sky, Shining in my sleepy eyes, Watching amaretto rise. I took apart the weather vain. And lost my money to the penny arcade. But I can still see the coffee stains. There’s a red star shining in a dark grey sky, Shining in my sleepy eyes, Watching a morello red star shining in a dark grey sky. Shining in my sleepy eyes, Watching amaretto rise. There’s a red star shining in a dark grey sky, Shining in my sleepy eyes, Watching amaretto rise. Keep looking down, down, down.
